3.6 Doc and Data Directory
To save memory, the documentation for preloaded functions and variables
(including primitives) is kept in a file named ‘DOC’, in the directory
specified by doc-directory
. This is usually the same as data-directory
.
This directory contains a lot of other useful information as well.
